VOLUNTEER WITH US!

The success of our Autism 5k Run & Walk is dependent on the dedication and commitment of our volunteers.  This is your chance to make a real difference and #DOIT4AUTISM!

  • 100 Volunteers needed to bring this event over the finish line!
  • Volunteers begin June 16 at 6 AM for set up, and break down until 12 PM
  • Assignments provided in detail to Volunteers by the Volunteer Coordinator
Saturday, June 16 • 6 AM to 12 PM (Start times vary)

Course Marshals
Direct and encourage runners/walkers along the 5K course. Have the kids make signs and volunteer as a family. Volunteers will be on their feet the entire time.

Operations
Work with the Operations Manager to setup and tear down the event. Duties include set up/tear down of signage at Start/Finish and throughout course, setup/tear down tables for vendor fair, set up trash cans, deliver water and supplies to water stations, etc. You will be on your feet the entire event.

Awards / Prizes
Hand out medals and prizes to winners. You will be on your feet.

KIDS ZONE
Setup Kids Zone with water/sand/rice tables. Monitor kids in this area and refill tables as needed. Apply temporary autism ribbon tattoos. You will be on your feet the entire event.

Water Stop
Each water stop consists of 5-6 people handing out fluids to participants. Great for groups wanting to volunteer together. Responsible for filling cups, picking up discarded cups and cleaning up area after all participants have passed. Encourage and support participants as they pass. You will be on your feet the entire event.

End Pep Team
Cheer for participants as they cross the finish line for a great cause!
